John’s Gospel is the Bible’s most powerful presentation of Jesus’ message of life. God purposed this one book to bring forth life in the name of His life-giving Son, Jesus, the Messiah. John, the beloved apostle, sets forth eight miraculous signs as evidence. The signs prove Jesus to be the crucified and resurrected Lamb of God who has taken away the sin of the world. They also confirm Him as the Messiah, the Son of God, who gifts everlasting life to whoever believes in Him for His sure promise of everlasting life.
Amen, amen, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life (John 6:47).
No one has ever believed His promise without receiving what He promises—everlasting life—with perfect assurance of that certainty. A promise is a promise.
